Issues - The Environment Part 1
Few people are left who argue that Global Warming is a hoax. Even
President Bush has come around and, though now a lame duck president, has
started to stress the problem is real.
What controversy remains seems to be on the cause. Is it caused by
human pollution? Or is it caused by events on the sun itself that haven't
been touched at all in the mainstream media. There is evidence that global
warming is affecting Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter. It may even be broader
than that.
If the problem lies with historic events taking place in the sun, it
would seem there is very little we can do but bend over and kiss our butts
goodbye. If it is an "earthly problem" then perhaps - if it
isn't too late - we can affect the outcome.
Those who do still argue that global warming is a hoax point to
the increasingly harsh winters.
What many of us don't realize is that it is more than just "a
warming". It is a growing meteorological instability as the
planet's weather begins to swing wildly from one extreme to the other.
While the north and south pole ice caps and glaciers melt, other areas of
the world see unprecedented heat and drought.
