September 11, 2001 Part 2

This excellent and dramatic Discovery Channel re-enactment of the events inside the World Trade Center on September 11 may not be totally accurate (for example, regarding the temperatures that supposedly melted the support beams), but it is one of the best examples you'll ever see of how those inside were trapped at every turn, and how - like the Titanic - it was never imagined that such an event would ever occur.

 

Following the revelation in 1998 that extreme right-wing military officials at the Joint Chiefs of Staff had actually drawn up plans for a "false flag" terrorist campaign that would kill hundreds if not thousands. and blame it on "a foreign terrorist", a majority of Americans in the wake of 9-11 expressed serious doubts that they were being told the truth about that horrible day.

Despite the best efforts of the Bush administration to shroud the events in secrecy, revelation after revelation leaked out to confirm Americans' worst fears - that 9-11 attack had been part of an operation planned in 1996 by right-wing neo-Cons to terrify Americans into total subservience to a police state government that would destroy the Constitution and use the event as an excuse to launch a never-ending campaign of war, much like Hitler had set up the burning of the Reichstag to terrify Germans into supporting the worst dictatorship that, until that time, had ever existed in the history of the world.

It was Operation Northwoods/Sledgehammer come true!
