Rex 84 Exposed During Iran Contra

Iran Contra Cover Up: Oliver North

"Internment camps" aka "concentration camps" are nothing new to the United States. During World War II, all Japanese-Americans were rounded up as "potential" enemies and herded into such camps. Tens of thousands of innocent lives were ruined and many died inside the fences of these camps, though they were treated much better than those inside the Nazi camps.

After the war, the camps fell into disrepair until some of them were rebuilt as memorials to what the country generally felt was "a shameful history" that should never be repeated. The subject of American concentration camps then dropped off the American radar until some time during the Carter administration, probably shortly after the creation of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

It wasn't until the Iran-Contra Affair that Americans learned of a secret plan called Rex-84 that would suspend the Constitution and place hundreds of thousands of Americans behind barbed wire internment camps once more.
