   We are bombarded with information ... information overload. Our 24-hour TV news, our magazines and our newspapers - not to mention the Internet - overwhelm us with random bits of "news", much of it worthless trivia about celebrities and "feel good" stories that in fact hide the real truths.

   Yet there seems, to the experienced observer who knows where to look and what to look for, a pattern that winds its way through the centuries. Some would call this evidence of "a giant conspiracy". Others would call it simply the path taken by human nature. It may be both.

   While recorded human history would seem to be a chaotic thread of seemingly random events that shape and mold who we are and what the future holds, that recorded history is just the tip of the iceberg. We, the masses, have been manipulated from the beginning of time by those who devoutly believe that because of bloodlines or wealth they, and they alone, have the duty, the right and the power to control the course of history - and with it, the lives and deaths of billions who they believe do not share those elite traits.

   Even in the account of Genesis we were manipulated in the Garden by a power that considered itself above all else.

   Can we separate our "human" history from a greater, cosmic history that stretches back beyond time? Is our political, social and economic history not a smaller part of something greater - and linked to an ancestral, even spiritual, history that goes back to our very beginnings and extends outward to civilizations we do not yet even know exist? Can we truly understand the part while ignoring the whole?
